Raise a glass!

This is my last post of the year! Crazy how time flies... This afternoon we will be taking Sean to the massive German fun fair in Hyde Park called Winter Wonderland, where Bear will take him on all the rides whilst Mummy looks on and sips on some warm gluhwein and nibbles on authentic bratwursts! :-)
Later on we are going to my very good friend Vivien's for a dinner party, where we will be ready to greet 2011 in full force:-)

Today I'll be wearing a high neck black blouse with long sheer balloon sleeves and wide cuffs

Black and gold teardrop shaped drooping earrings

The blouse has got an open back detail which is barely visible when I let my hair down

Footwear for the evening are a pair of black, shiny, pointed leather boots with tassels on the back of each boot

The Big Pony

Today I went to the Ralph Lauren store in Bond Street to exchange the black Big Pony polo with the sparkly beaded big pony sign on the chest, that I got for x-mas. A tip for those buying this particular slim fit polo, buy one size up from the one you would normally get.

Our last day in snaps

I can't wait to decorate my neck with my new very Gothic style-silk chiffon (Alexander McQueen) square scarf with different sized skulls throughout. I am really pleased with the fact that it's grey and not the usual black with the white skulls. Well done Bear! :-)

The day before x-mas & Daddy's arrival :-)

Tomorrow is the big day, hurray!

(for those of you who don't know, Christmas is celebrated on the 24th in Sweden).

Now we are just praying to the weather gods that this snowstorm that is pushing in through the South of Sweden will go away as it is causing transport trouble and I need my man here tomorrow, in fact; I HAVE TO have him here. End of!

Alterations

This morning I am puttin elastic hems on Sean's Ralph Lauren trousers that is a gift from my Mum's friend Jessica.

It's a great solution if you have trousers that are either too long or too wide, and all you need is an elastic band for each leg and a very large safety pin.

2010 in review

Sean stayed up way beyond his usual bed time at 7.30pm as he was so excited with so many people around him giving him attention

Erik was very lucky that his flight left on time from London yesterday, and that the only delays he experienced were 90 mins on the train from the airport to our home town

Anticipation

Today we are waiting in anticipation, to see if my brother Erik, who is due to fly from London to Copenhagen this morning, will despite the severe weather that's causing chaos over Europe, will arrive here at some point today
