Anniversary at Chiltern Firehouse and chef Ramsay's latest hotspot

Highlights from Monday night when we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Checked in at Chiltern Firehouse for the ultimate staycation, had dinner at Gordon Ramsays swanky new Mayfair restaurant, Lucky Cat, and hung out until the small hours back at the hotel's buzzing private bar before heading upstairs to our super cosy room.

Colony Grill @ The Beaumont Hotel

On Thursday we got a baby sitter for the night

and headed to The Colony Grill in Mayfair (recently mentioned here)

where we met up with Andrea and David for dinner and drinks

and to celebrate a double anniversary

We were the last ones to leave the place, and needless to say it got a bit messy in the end lol

 When you meet on each other's honeymoon and become best friends.

 Yup, Bear got me wellies for my anniversary pressie - but not just any wellies, these high shine super stylish ones. 😍 Im thinking school runs and Autumn strolls in the park - well put it this way, I won't be waiting for the rain to come to start using them!

Today me and my big bear, best friend and partner in crime are celebrating six years of marriage! 😍 He's currently climbing Englands highest mountain, Scafell Pike, but we'll be celebrating next weekend at Dorchester's country house hotel, Coworth Park, can't wait!

Happy 5th Anniversary!

Today marks the 5th year (1825 days!) together with my big 6'3" Bear 🐻   - I started off the day at Louis Vuitton's flagship store, and Heathrow Airport is coming up next, wee hee!

This year marks our 3rd year together as husband and wife, and today is the day we said our dos :-)

 Believe me when I tell you: I love this man! 

Celebrating our anniversary a little early on Saturday, with some decadent dining (lobster) at Berners Tavern

This really sums us up LOL! 

Me: "What if I fall?" Bear: "Oh, but my darling what if you fly?" 
I have a tendency of being anxious and worry a lot, and Bear is always trying to stay positive, reminding me that worrying leads nowhere, and helps me to overcome it.  He's undoubtedly my rock!

A cause for celebration!

Three years and counting…..

Listening to this amazing tune whilst waiting for the babysitter, and preparing for a big night out here with hubby, yay! 

Anniversary celebrations

On Saturday night Bear just told me to be ready for 7.30pm, as he had booked both a restaurant and babysitter without my knowledge

Little did I know that there was one more surprise in store...

I wore leather imitation leggings with a ruffled sleeved blouse that has a flattering belt to tie above the bump (although it didn't come out in the pic) - both from Topshop Maternity

When the cab pulled up in front of the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, I immediately knew where we were abt to dine, as one of my fave London restaurant China Tang is located there.

What I didnt know was that hubby had arranged with David to join us, as he and Andrea too had their second wedding anniversary on that very same weekend :-)

These two men had done an excellent job in keeping the secret for us wives (as we were truly surprised!) and we laughed throughout the night and shared memories of how the four of us met on our honeymoon in The Maldives

It was a truly memorable experience!
