We noticed this colourful bus sculpture on the way to school the other day. It is TFL (Transport for London) that is celebrating 'The Year of the Bus' and they've had aspiring artists paint the iconic Routemaster bus all across the streets of London. This one is called "Come Rain or Come Shine" and is located on Edgware Road, W2.

| On Friday night Erik and John joined us back at this delightful part of London called Little Venice, and on a surprisingly sunny October's day, it certainly makes London seem the best of all worlds. The canal side location is what makes the venue atmospheric, they serve fantastic sea food, very friendly service and effectively they have an open air terrace for a cheeky ciggies, electric heaters and blankets too! We had reserved the "sofa" table in advance so we didn't have to go home when the kids feel asleep :-) And Summerhouse is now open all year around! |
