At the country club with my brood

A rather wonderful afternoon at Stoke Park, the first visit post Covid and lockdown - what a freedom feeling as Uk is now becoming increasingly civilised.

24h in the country side, daahlin!

1st weekend of Feb we checked in to our Country Club and spent twenty four hours relaxing, indulging and celebrating Bear's bday (55) - well deserved me thinks after 5 weeks of strict intermittent fasting.

Guess if Sean was jazzed when we bumped in to Novak Djokovic there?! The Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 1 sat casually next to us having lunch and didn't mind the slightest that we asked for a picture.

What a nice guy, we wish him the best of luck at Wimbledon! 

Sundays are for going to the country club (and visiting Mum!)

Yesterday we drove to Stoke Park for swimming and a leisurely afternoon with lunch, coffee and the Sunday papers. On the way home we swung by Mum so the kids finally could get acquainted with our new family member, Sweetie.
