..we marked our wedding anniversary by dining at Roka and  strolling around in Mayfair.
I gave Bear a heartfelt card (lol!) and I was gifted the gorgeous Juste un Clou ring.

No love for the love bracelet

Collected my yellow gold bracelet at Cartier today. Since buying it a few years ago it's come off my wrist completely twice. First time just six months after buying it. Handed it in for repair and was reassured it would never happen again. 18 months after that, it happened again!! Absolutely shocking but luckily I found both pieces. My white gold bracelet that is much older than the yellow gold has been sitting on my wrist the whole time with the exception for when I had a spray tan done. And I barely have to tighten its screws. Honestly thought they would offer me a brand new one this time. Instead they had the cheek to ask me if I wanted the polishing service for £100! Disappointing to say the least! 

How Far Would You Go For L O V E?

Back in March when I entered a new decade and turned 40 (yikes!), I was extremely blessed and received the yellow gold bracelet from the Cartier LOVE collection, to wear together with my white gold one.   

They are such classic pieces and they've actually been around longer than I. I never wear them separately as they look so pretty together, and I very rarely take them off. Mainly because putting them back on with the screw driver is quite the task and it's near enough impossible to not leave scratches (see close up pictures). 

I suppose the first scratch is the hardest lol, and with time they don't look as shiny that's for sure, but scratches or not, I am gonna grow old with my LOVE bracelets ♥♥ 

Superficial L.O.V.E

Did I mention I'm utterly in love with my Love Bracelet in white gold, and feel so blessed to wear it on my wrist!
Cartier launched them as far back as 1969, and from what I gather they were designed to be given to one’s true love and then screwed on to their wrist, for all eternity I suppose :-)

The bracelet can be removed using a special mini screwdriver, but that has not been a problem to me, as I've only ever taken it off once, since getting it in March (and that was before having a spray tan LOL!).

I'm obviously planning on spreading the LOVE, haha, by passing it on to Scarlett Grace when she gets older!
