Back from the salon where I had my nails done, I am now having lunch whilst reading the details of one property we viewed yesterday.

Breakfast at the Grazing Goat
This morning Bear and I indulged ourselves with a quality breakfast, coffee and reading the papers at the Grazing Goat, after dropping Sean off at nursery. Just as last Wednesday we have a couple of viewings lined up today locally. And with my Mum coming over yet again tomorrow , I am feeling very excited and positive :-)
Happy Wednesday, folks!

Midsummer in London
Flowers in your hair on Midsummer is compulsory!
I set off for the park with plenty of food and drinks to last all day
With girlies Susie and Vanessa drinking wine from plastic cups, very classy indeed LOL
The weather turned gorgeous later in the afternoon and more and more people kept showing up

Happy Midsummer!
Sean celebrating Midsummer here in London 2009, only 7 months old
In Sweden we celebrate Midsummer, an extremely popular holiday, today - Its a from what I gather a pagan celebration of the Summer solstice, which was associated with fertility and farming, although these days, the Swedes and the other Nordic countries celebrate for I suppose the tradition, and of course just for the sake of celebration LOL
So today, I really miss my family back home today, and wish I could be there with them and join in the celebration.
Imagine dying to eat traditional Swedish food (pickled herring etc), dress a maypole, dance around it and drink and sing all night long. Sounds crazy, eh? But ask any Swede and they will no doubt agree with me! Have a fab weekend and enjoy the warm weather that'll arrive in the capital tomorrow :-)

Wednesdays = quality time
As part of our midweek quality time-plan, Bear and I take Sean to nursery every Wednesday morning for an 8am drop off. Here you see Bear leaving the nursery premises in Connaught Village, yesterday morning
They do a very nice cooked brekkie with no grease at all, and only use organic free range products. I chose poached eggs with my bacon, sausages and mushroom.
On our way to view a couple of town houses and one mews house for sale in Marlyebone as we are planning to expand in the near future.

Yesterday's playdate
Despite the 11 month age gap, Sean and Olivia have so much fun (check out their red and sweaty faces from jumping on the sofa together)
Olivia's mum, Alina, is my longest known friend here in London (we met 2001, i.e 10 years now!)

On repeat
I cannot stop listening to Rihanna's stunning new reggae-tinged track! Guessing I'm not the only one addicted as it's the most viewed clip on YouTube now!
Mummy's little helper
Monday morning means taking the weekend's rubbish and recycling downstairs to the basement, and Sean always insist on helping me :-)

Trying a new tipple
My choice of drink if not bubbly, is a Grey Goose and slimline tonic. Am tonight trying out the new lemon flavour and boy is it nice!

Jogging pram
How do you like my new three wheeler?
We will still carry on using our Emmaljunga, but this one is mainly for when I'm out jogging. It's very very light (but still seems robust) and the big cycle tyres makes is easy to push around over rough grounds.
The seat goes from almost completely upright to flat, so Sean can easily sleep in it. I also like the baby tray where he can put his snick snacks on, and the mummy tray for my Cappuccino or water bottle (2 cup holders), as well as a little covered compartment for keys and mobile phone etc, and the large useful storage basket. The sun canopy is adjustable (and removable) and there is also a little peak hole/window if you want to spy on your baba. lol
It's really easy to push and steer one handed, folds down easily and a bonus was the rain cover and a black footmuff (for no extra cost), to keep my little man's legs and feet warm during winter.
Can't wait to take it for a spin tomorrow morning!

Al fresco dining
Last night me and dear friend Vivien went out for a much needed baby free, girls' night in Hush, located in a lovely pedestrianised cobbled mews in the heart of Mayfair.

A snippet of my morning
After a thirty minute run this morning, I had a high protein slow carb breakfast - a la lifestyle guru Tim Ferriss - with two scrambled eggs and organic lentils
Got the paint brush out and painted an old, see-through and very boring plastic lamp shade with black paint, for Sean's "new" room. Pics up on blog soon.
