Pre pregnancy shorts, quiet time in park & affirmations

Today's affirmations:

I am rich when I never need more than I have

I am beautiful when I don't need a mirror

I am humble when I do not know how humble I am

Saint Laurent card holder

New and noteworthy;
Card holder with five card slots and a zipped compartment. The slim design in black leather, the signature stamp in gold as well as the golden zip makes it a timeless accessory.

House sitting

When you're working a fine line between sanity and very young children.. A few hours to yourself and a glass of chilled Sancerre? Don't mind if I do!
England calling Romania!
Skyping is such a great way of keeping in touch with friends and family
The house where Ama is staying right now, two hours train journey from Bukarest. Jealous? Me? Nah! ;-)

I'm currently in Erik and John’s flat in Tower Hill, as they are away in Ibiza. I’ve recently discovered this part of the capital that I never really ventured out to before, and their French windows and outdoor space, is something I’ve only ever dreamed of since living in central London. .
The beauty of opening a bottle of crisp white chilled French wine on a warm Friday evening, pushing the doors to the balcony wide open, and Skyping with your good friend who's abroad -  I would say it's the epitome of perfect house-sitting! Thank you brother, I’ll do this anytime, all you need to do is ask :-)

Food for thought

Fusions of Flavours

Tonight's din din courtesy of Nando's - Medium hot, flame grilled chicken with peri peri sauce. No side orders of course, that way it's still pretty low carb!

Summer has arrived!

School run in white & pastel-pink, iced coffee and 23 degrees. Need I say more?

Tick tock it's Pimms ó clock

The Connaught Village Festival returns! One of Central London's hidden treasures is transformed in to a street party today, and as it happens it's right next to where Sean's school is - so we wouldn't miss it for the world.
Last year we saw the whole Beckham family here. The fairground rides and face paintings are all free! The live music now is playing, the sun is out, food stalls are giving away yummy tasters and Pimm's is being served - come and join in!

Run for your life

This is how beautiful Regents Park looked at 6am this morning
I think I just did this year's best 5k run yay! After very little sleep, and no fuel what so ever. I don't know how I did it, but I'm feeling so energised and revitalised now. I did however swallow a fly (not the first time either!) - Got to remember to stop singing along to the music when I run!

Friends & fizz on Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day at David and Andrea's house in North London. Tim prepared a yummy barbecue and we ate and chatted over wine, champagne and Pimms, whilst all our kids frolicked about and just ran free, like the wild little creatures that they are.
What was nice is that there is always a level of communal parenting going on, with everyone taking their turn to entertain the toddlers. Who needs to buy toys?
When the sun slowly began to disappear behind the trees in their beautifully manicured garden, and when the kids were ready for bed, we finally surrendered to the evening. And boy what a warm and wonderful evening it was!

Morning run

Iphone snaps from when I was out for a run in the early morning air of the City, on a path that passes Limehoue Basin, Regents Canal through historic Wapping and the beautiful St Katherine Docks.

Breakfast and such

8am weekend brekkie at Duck and Waffle with the boys at the top of the Heron tower (40th floor). Floor to ceiling windows for a rather magnificent view, and the glass lift on the outside of the building made it really fun to get there -  especially for my little man
