Mews of Mayfair - not as we know it

Walked through the otherwise super busy Mews Of Mayfair today, and also passed Hush's very tired looking terrace - bizarre!

Life lately - third week back in the capital

The first day back in London we went to Regents Park for a picnic

Chicken and rice (raw chicken breast cut up in smaller pieces and fried by Sean himself!) at the local square - just to get out of the house a bit when the #IsolationFrustration kicked in

Marylebone morning #SchoolRun

Pretty in pink

Once the PM announced you can social distance with up to 6 people from other house holds, we had an Aperol Spritz afternoon ..

..and planted rose bushes in Gerry's garden last week Saturday.

This little munchkin loves her broccoli!

Both kiddos said they were happy to be back in London where the wifi is much better lol!

A no hands approach! My bumbag is a life saver in this Corona world.

Here we took the kids to see Mum, first time in over 3 months, but they have to keep their 2 metre distance, so no hugs unfortunately!

After visiting Mum we drove and picked up a bicycle I had bought for Scarlett Grace on Facebook Marketplace

Test driving her new MuddyFox bike

Flower Power - two tones tulips

Lil Man who's never gone this long without a haircut is desperate for the hairdressers to open up (me too for that matter!)

Bunless burger with rosemary salted chips from Honest Burger, paid for via the app and delivered by Deliveroo, who has a "no-contact drop-off service"

My gorgeous Mum always lights up when I visit

Gradually easing the lockdown - on Monday (15th June), Chiltern Firehouse opened up their doors for take aways only.

Goodbye winter uniform! Summer term at school means no longer wearing the wool blazer but a pretty dress and no tights instead

The new norm, yuk! Andrea and I wearing the mandatory (on public transport and in taxis) face mask on our way to have a picnic on Primrose Hill, our first meet since early March.

Goodbye beach life, hello city life!

After 10 weeks in our cottage in Kent we returned to the capital as schools were re-opening on 1st June (only year 1 and 6 which is our kids' year groups) - I snapped this gorge pic of London's skyline as we drove back.
