Ladies lunch at Scott's

Table secured outside for the best people watching in London at one of the capital's finest restaurants
I was keeping it shrimple ;-)
Thursday's 3.5 hour long al fresco lunch in Mayfair with Andrea and Gerry - it doesn't get any better than that!

Sunday Stroll

Hubby and I set off 7am for a two hour long stroll around Marylebone, Regents Park and Primrose Hill and caught the sun rise over London's sky line - bliss!

Back to school

It's that time of the year when all parents breath a sigh of relief after 8 weeks of holiday, and it was no different for me!
Our apartment is now nice and tidy, very quiet and no "Mamma this, Mamma that".

Both bambinos started a new school, both in Marylebone within five minutes walk which is a blessing. Kitted out in their new uniforms and eager to get back, I dropped them the other day and enjoyed a very silent 7 hours at home lol.

I think it's safe to say we've had a fantastic fulfilled Summer but everyone is now happy to get back in to our routines.

Girls day out

With Sean at sports camp yesterday, I got a chance of strengthening the mother daughter relation ship between me and Scarlett Grace, and I do take every opportunity I can to do that!
When you have two bambinos of different sex (and they frequently cry that I'm unfair!) you have to make that an important goal to strive for.  Mucho importante!

I get by with a little help from my...

.... son! Oh they joy when Sean asked me for the first time if he could join me on my Sunday morning run. ❤︎

Work in progress

Nearly done with laying a carpet up in our sleeping loft and tiny walk in wardrobe. It's super soft and I think I just about managed to match the exact  colour with the bed frame . Final touches like skirting boards, paint etc is up next (and buying new crisp white bed linen!). More pics of end result to come.

Notting Hill Carnival 2019

Yesterday we went to join Europe's biggest street festival. Sean is not too keen on the loud event (that's been going annually for 5 decades), but hubby, Scarlett Grace and I simply love the wonderfully diverse and vibrant Notting Hill Carnival.

Summerhouse and The London Waterbus Co

'Table for four please!"

Saturday grubbing
A hidden gem in London - waterside dining in Little Venice
Fresh seafood and ice cold drinks in the sunshine - Fish you were here? ;-)
I scream for ice cream!
A family favourite - mint choc chip. Deeelicioius!

After our leisurely lunch we got the Waterbus from Little Venice to Camden Lock

Cruising the canals of inner London allows you to see part of the city that you can't see from the streets.

 Camden Town here we come

Fellow boaters always give a smile and a wave as you pass by

Camden market is always a good idea!
