The Valentine's menu



Here's the master chef of last night. Bear used True Deli for the food, and it all came with simple printed cooking instructions. Perfect for anyone who can't cook!

Our Valentine's menu (washed down with a few glasses of Shiraz):

Canapé

Smoked Salmon Blinis Crème Fraiche, Chives topped with caviar

First Course

Smoked Duck, Walnut and Poached Pear with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar

Main Course

Fillet of Beef and Roasted New Potatoes with Rosemary, green beens and carrots in a red wine jus

Pudding

Valhrona Chocolate Mousse with Pink Grapefruit Salad

Petit Fours

Handmade Champagne Chocolate Truffles

To top the evening off, Bear also gave me a set of Marc Jacobs "Daisy" (my favourite) - goodies that included: perfume, lotion, shower gel and that oversized ring that cleverly contains the Daisy perfume, allowing you to 'top up' when you're out.
