New York Times πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Lounging in the lounge, Terminal 5 Heathrow
Swapped in to something more comfy once onboard and a G n T, naturally
We ate well and got a few hours sleep
Taxi from JFK to Manhattan

Arrived at our beautiful Midtown hotel Baccarat
Dinner in Soho with our dear friend Echo at Blue Ribbon Brasserie - it's open til 4am seven days/week(!) and this pic was taken around 2.30am on our first night as we tried to keep awake to avoid jetlag

Breakfast at Balthazar

Staten Island Ferry
Lunch and a Bloody Mary by Wall Street, another branch of the Blue Ribbon Restaurant

Drinkies at our hotel bar

Check, please!
Morning stroll by Central Park a few minutes walk from the hotel
Trump's Ice Rink

Breakfast at Sarabeths by the park
Stolled a little more then popped in to the Swedish cafe Fika for a cinnamon bun and Macchiato

That same night we had dinner downtown at the trendy Japanese restaurant Megu, then on to the exclusive nightclub, PHD,  where our hand stamp was checked by 5 different bouncers and their little torch (yes I counted FIVE!) before we reached the popular rooftop lounge.
We had Echo, his good friend Hashmel and Norweigan Nathalie back for drinks in our room.

A must visit for us (as we visit the Turkish venue every year) was the newly opened Nusr-et by the now world famous #Saltbae - I can safely say the steak is the best I've ever had, well except the one in the other branch that is lol

Messing around outside our hotel with MoMA opposite, the Modern Museum Of Art

Breakfast in our hotel's stunning salon

Mother's Day card from the kiddies, all the way from London 😍

More pics from the hotel and our room

And so we left our hearts in New York City..
