7 year in a row, and now we're back from yet another successful skiing trip in the French Alps! First family ski holiday was in Vail Colorado, but with young children it's simply too far to travel. Well, a week in Courchevel is exactly what anyone needs. A winter wonderland with scenery from a Christmas card. A true escape from reality, this alpine French getaway is a mix of years of tradition and true luxury.
A week of skiing on beautifully groomed pistes, apres-skis on our sun drenched terrace, truffle fondue and just a tad of champagne is enough to make any girl happy. Sitting around the open fire in the evening with full bellies and my beloved family for company and the kids learning basic French, drinking coffee on our apartment's balcony facing the slopes. and top top it all, this year we befriended another London couple who we got on with like a house on fire and meeting up with next week already :-)
To say the hotel is conveniently located is an understatement. It has pole position just two minutes walk from the lifts that sweep you up into the Trois Vallees. And I mention it every year, but the ski shop staff help you put your boots on and take them off at the end of the day - something that makes me ridiculously happy lol! And yes, we've already booked next year, goes without saying!

Love your ski outfit. I missed the entire ski season due to vertigo so I'm very envious! You are a very glam bunch and your children so sweet!
so jealous! 7 months pregnant (yay!) so missed ski season this year. But I’ll be back. What is the age gap between Sean and Scarlett Grace? Ours will be 6 yrs and I hope they will be as close as your two.
Jen Lawrence; Aww thank you :-) Whoa vertigo it's pretty scary! Have a friend who has it and it affects his balance a lot and it could last hours once it kicked in! Hope yours is not as bad! The whole resort is super glam so one must try to blend it LOL! Dont be fooled with the kids though, not always so sweet haha - plenty of tantrums on the slopes! x
Caroline: Yay huge congrats to another addition 2 the family! It's 5 years between Scarlett Grace and Sean and firstly, it was very nice to not have two kids in nappies, and secondly I find the gap very helpful as Sean because of his age is now very sensible and looks after his little sister a lot as she still doesn't have a sense of danger. Fingers crossed for a safe delivery, pls do pop in to say hi and let me know when the little bundle arrives! x
