Half way through Half Term

Manic is one way to describe it lol! - Kids' half term and living in central London #CityKids 

Waterway

 Our Saturday at The Waterway. On sunny days, the gastro pub located beautifully by the canal in Little Venice, gets super duper busy. However we were really lucky to secure an outside table from 2 -5.30pm! Best time to go if you ask me. Apart from the general drinking and eating, kids enjoyed looking at all the boats coming by and waving to the passengers. 👋🛥🌞

Our Sunday spent in Paddington Basin scooting, strolling & eating alongside the Grand Union Canal in glorious weather. 

Three nights in Dublin 🇮🇪

On Wednesday afternoon we left the kids with mum and headed for the airport

After an hour's flight we arrived in Dublin - here's our quirky bedroom suite.

 I had to sample what everyone else was having around the city, the local Gunpowder Gin  with Elderflower Tonic - delish!

Bear was giving a presentation at a conference in Dublin last week, and we decided to make the most of it. So we turned it into a mini holiday for both of us with three whole child free nights. We had beautiful sunshine every day, cosy pubs with live music and Irish bands, dinner and drinks at Marco Pierre White's steak house, and simply the friendly 'craic' of the Irish people made our visit so blooming enjoyable! On top of that Ed Sheeran AND Rolling Stones were playing that weekend so everywhere was absolutely buzzing! Really luv this city and will deffo be back soon!

FriYay!

Picking up Sean from after school- football club. Sun is shining, its the start of the weekend and I'm with my two little nuggets - Happy days! 💞 

No love for the love bracelet

Collected my yellow gold bracelet at Cartier today. Since buying it a few years ago it's come off my wrist completely twice. First time just six months after buying it. Handed it in for repair and was reassured it would never happen again. 18 months after that, it happened again!! Absolutely shocking but luckily I found both pieces. My white gold bracelet that is much older than the yellow gold has been sitting on my wrist the whole time with the exception for when I had a spray tan done. And I barely have to tighten its screws. Honestly thought they would offer me a brand new one this time. Instead they had the cheek to ask me if I wanted the polishing service for £100! Disappointing to say the least!

The "reading woman" has now moved in to our living room and Im so pleased with the outcome as it adds the finishing touch alongside our existing colour scheme, dusty pink.
