Just finished Swedish crime novel "Utmarker" (Arne Dahl), and now moved on to this; a what I would call a sort of anti self-help book 😝

Your kids are getting such a wonderful upbringing in the city!

Well hello Canada, nice to hear from you again! Thanks for your comment re my city kids, I appreciate how you see it in a positive way like I do - The children are extremely street wise (my 10 yr old knows how to spot and swerve a nutcase on the pavement as we're walking to school haha), and they both can make conversation with people from any background which is wonderful to witness. Stuff the countryside! LOL Have a wonderful weekend Patricia 🤗

Thanks Catharina, you too! I grew up on the outskirts of a city and our kids (grown up now) have had the same kind of life, albeit in many different places (army kids). However, they did get a taste of living in a capital city when they were early teenagers - we lived in Budapest for 4 years. We did live on the edge of town, but towards the end my older son would go out on a Saturday night with friends to the downtown. But we usually picked him up afterwards - as the school guidance teacher used to say,"nothing good happens in downtown Budapest after midnight!"
