Ham Yard Hotel

Bear and I are big fans of The Firmdale Group of hotels so we were eager to try out their new addition, Ham Yard.

Located by Picadilly Circus, you still feel tucked away from the hustle and bustle when in their secluded courtyard. So far all is great here and we really loved the valet parking that was offered to us as we arrived :-)

Seven months

Scarlett Grace AKA Munchie (that's what "Munchkin" evolved into - sometimes it evolves even further to just Munch LOL!) turned 7 months on Sunday

S.E.V.E.N months already!! Scarlett Grace can now sit unsupported although not for too long or she'll tip over! But the sitting up now frees up both her hands for exploring and what's even more fun - clapping. Adorably she copies me when I clap my hands together :-)

She's reaching for things just out of reach, and eventually she manages to grab the things by rolling over. 

If I look away, after placing her on a blanket on the floor, for no more than half a minute she has moved a couple of metres! It's now only a matter of a few of weeks before she starts crawling (just in time for our holiday, bah!). 

Although she's mainly drinking formula milk, she's started eating solids in the last month, mainly Ella fruit pouches or rice cakes etc - but she does, of course, also wonder what EVERYTHING else tastes like too, and puts whatever comes her way in her mouth.. and this is a real challenge for all parents of curious little babas!

Rounding off our mini break in Scandinavia with a night out in Nyhavn with the whole family including Mum, listening to live music and having a nightcap (or two *hic*) :-)

What is your biggest fear? A few actually..birds, hight and dark waters

Ideal Sunday morning? Going for a stroll around Regents Park with my family, and stopping for brunch in at The Providores on Marylebone High Street

Favourite tipple? Champagne, preferably Billecart-Salmon rose

Best holiday? Maldives, and skiing in Courchevel

Favourite film? The Intouchables (French)

Stopped for a cappuccino on our way to Boots flagship store by Bond Street (where they have the biggest selection of baby food).

Here we are yet again in our favourite local hip hangout, Chiltern Firehouse. London's Indian Summer is continuing so it would be rude not to dine al fresco with  a couple of glasses of chilled white Burgundy :-)
