Mum's arrival

And so my Mum arrived back in London on Wednesday in preparation for our upcoming holiday. She had the luxury of being collected at Heathrow by my good friend Gerry, who drove her straight to our door step - Thanks darling, that was such a nice gesture!

Later that evening we were joined by Erik and John and welcomed our mother the in the traditional way over a few drinks :-)

Sunday at Stoke Park

It's hard to believe, but the English countryside, Buckinghamshire, is only a thirty minutes drive from Marylebone, central London.

Over the weekend we set off on the drive to Stoke Poges in the early morning. Early enough to get to the country club for "splash time" which ends 11.30am. Kids then went swimming with Daddy as I had a pot of fresh coffee and read the Sunday papers. An hour later they all joined me for an al fresco lunch on the gorgeous terrace - an idyllic Sunday if you ask me!

Sean's Sweden trip

10 days in Sweden - July 2015

Meeting new friends, old friends, going to the beach, learning how to cycle, going to the cinema, fishing, playing in various playground and meeting his cousin (my brother's daughter) for the first time, were some of his highlights. Towards the end of his holiday he asked to stay even longer, bless his cotton socks!
Thank you Mum for everything you did for our boy.
