Sun is out, the weekend is here, and we're listening to Calvin Harris' latest funky disco groove tune "Feels" feat Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry  - turn up the volume,  it's simply fab, LOVE it!  

Dinner party with friends 🍽🥂

A cavalcade of snaps from last Friday's dinner party at Andrea and David's (with pre drinks at Scandinavian Marylebone restaurant The Harcourt). Table for twelve with a private chef cooking for us in celebration of the birthday boy David. Boy what an evening! ✨

Husband and Wife, Country Life 💋🌳

Early afternoon on Friday, Bear and I got in the car and drove out to the countryside, the beautiful Hertfordshire, to this hotel located in an enviable location (with easy access, 1.5hrs from central London).

As soon as we entered our room I had to hold myself from gasping at just how beautiful it was with all the windows and natural light they let in and the peaceful views across the landscaped gardens. And the warm interior throughout made the big room feel cosy and intimate; a home away from home I would say (although a much more elegant and lavish one!).  

Mum looked after the kids so we could really relax, and we spend two whole nights in this stunning and characterful old Manor. 

A child free break, with no nagging and bickering about home work, healthy dinners and brushing teeth etc was just what we needed, and we came back more relaxed then ever with our batteries recharged.

Kids excited to go to Holiday Camp for the day//IKEA with Mum and the compulsory restaurant visit for Swedish meatballs//Sean and his 'fidget spinner' (UK's latest craze amongst kids) on the overground train heading to Grandma's for a sleep over and play date with mum's neighbour's daughter Nicole//YUM! Take away lunch, organic minced chicken burger with artichoke and sprout salad, from Selfridges' Food Hall//Lunch and the papers at Bill's//New McQueen bracelet, perfect Summer accessory in baby pink//Family lunch at Natural Kitchen where Mum joined us//This morning's hair TLC -wash, treatment and blow-dry at the salon in prep for our child free weekend in the country side//Friday Flowers - Spoilt, that I am! A gorge bouquet from Bear was delivered today♥︎

Chillin at Chiltern

on Friday my new Maison Michel (now sold out in that colour) straw hat arrived..

..just in time for our lunch date in Chiltern Firehouse

We got a table on their outside terrace which was buzzing with people enjoying the sunshine

We wined and dined a whole four hours there before we headed home, needless to say we were a little tipsy lol! Best child free quality time if  you ask me 😜
