Stroll through St John's Wood & Abbey Road

Pics I snapped from my walk the other day to the grand but tranquil village St John's Wood, in the heart of London.  Elegant villas that sweeps along the picturesque wide streets makes the walk so enjoyable. And I'll b doing this route regularly now (hopefully with a pram!) as my highly pregnant friend Ama has moved here just recently. Can't wait to be sniffing a baby's head again!

Birthday Part 2 - Park Chinois

Just off Berkeley Square in Mayfair is Park Chinois, a very luxury restaurant that's split into two dining areas, upstairs as well as the downstairs club, both with live entertainment and a Chinese cuisine.

We went on to the lower floor on the night of my birthday where they had an amazing live show every 15 minuets throughout dinner (exquisite food!) followed by cocktails in the bar with a late night DJ that wrapped up around 2am.

It was certainly a unique experience but extremely expensive so we won’t rush back in a hurry, unless it’s another special occasion that is!

Nostalgia...

... is when you walk past your first ever rented accommodation in London.  No 45 Leinster Square (in Bayswater W2) was my address, and I shared the flat with three other girls (one Caribbean, one British and one Texan), roughly twenty years ago now - boy those were the days lol!

Third time lucky?! Marylebone dream home

A little insight into what I've been getting up to this last month regarding our quest to find our dream family home without having to leave central London.

Its near enough impossible to find something that suits us four, ie a bedroom each for the kids, an office for Bear, walk in wardrobe, space for Mum to stay when she's visiting, a secure underground parking and an outside space (ie balcony) and still in the heart of Marylebone. Well I've been reluctant to post anything on the blog in case I jinx it, but it's safe to say I've found our dream home here in W1, and been to view it three times already...
First time by myself, second time with Bear and the third time with my brother. This split level penthouse flat is twice the size of ours and I fell in love with it the second I entered it (have you seen the marble staircase leading up to the second floor?!).
There are some snags in regards to finances as they want to sell it straight away and we would need to sell ours first, but we're currently in talks with the owners to postpone a potential purchase for another 10-12 months so we can sort our stuff out, and in the meantime they are looking to rent it out.

Let's see, only time will tell but I've been viewing endless properties the last couple of years and this is just what we've been looking for -  Fingers crossed everything goes according to plan - wish us luck, we'll certainly need it!

New and noteworthy - Dior Club 2 visor sunglasses

Cant wait to wear these brand spanking new shades on our upcoming ski holiday in a couple of days! Hubby managed to source these sold out everywhere (with black frames and mirrored lenses) sunglasses from Dior.  Sleek squared shape with a J'ADIOR stamped visor, they really embrace high fashion chic in a sporty, glamorous way - simply perfect on the slopes!

Mothers Day Weekend in Henley

We celebrated the Mothers Day weekend in Henley, last Friday till Sunday - Two nights at the Hotel Du Vin with a balcony facing the river, an outdoor bathtub and crawling distance to the beautiful Thames with water side picturesque pubs.  I realise I might be biased, but my bambinos are pretty special - I feel so blessed to be their mamma and now that they both are a little older and more independent I thoroughly enjoy the harvest of my hard but ever so rewarding mothering work - It was family fun all around and a gift that is better than any I could ever receive!
