Food heaven
Bear nipped in to the food hall at Selfridges on his way home tonight to pick up some goodies for tonight's supper - a selection of freshly made salads including artichoke, prawns, sprouts and langoustine - my idea of food heaven!

Bus art
We noticed this colourful bus sculpture on the way to school the other day. It is TFL (Transport for London) that is celebrating 'The Year of the Bus' and they've had aspiring artists paint the iconic Routemaster bus all across the streets of London. This one is called "Come Rain or Come Shine" and is located on Edgware Road, W2.

Summerhouse
On Friday night Erik and John joined us back at this delightful part of London called Little Venice, and on a surprisingly sunny October's day, it certainly makes London seem the best of all worlds. The canal side location is what makes the venue atmospheric, they serve fantastic sea food, very friendly service and effectively they have an open air terrace for a cheeky ciggies, electric heaters and blankets too! We had reserved the "sofa" table in advance so we didn't have to go home when the kids feel asleep :-) And Summerhouse is now open all year around! |

Dinner at Summerhouse and Thank You Anna
Not only did Anna (whose profession is hair dresser, although now she's a stay at home mum to Chris who's 10 days younger than Munchie) colour my hair, gave me a beautiful blow-dry AND fed Scarlett Grace her entire lunch #SupaDupaFriend Heading out for dinner and drinks tonight with my brother Erik and his boyfriend John to Summerhouse, our old time fave in London when the weather is good (read 20 degrees right now!) Have a happy Friday and a good weekend! |

Mah bhoy
Did I mention how much I heart this little man?! He's all grown up now, isn't he? Six years next month..My, how time flies! |
Lil man tonight with his new Dre headphones, watching "Pippi" (Longstocking that is) movie on YouTube, in Swedish of course :-)
Newly bathed, fed and homework done, then a well deserved relaxing-time on the sofa before strict bed time at 8pm. That pretty much sums up our evening so far. Now I'm gonna catch up on some new episodes of Homeland season 4. Nighty night xx

It's good news!
Phew what a relief, it's been one hell of a stressful week leading up to the results. It's so mentally draining. Feels like I've been holding my breath for the last seven days….But they came back good, and I can finally exhale :-)
The lesion is explained as an uncommon one, but the main thing is that "To date there have been no reports of lichenoid keratosis turning into malignant skin tumours".

Inside Info
1. Yesterday... I met up with my friend Anna over coffee at Pret A Manger and bought another set (of four) of these Nespresso glasses that I love to drink from
2. This morning... I was spoilt by a lie-in as Bear did the school run at 8am for a 8.15am drop off.
3. So far today I have... served up a tuna egg salad for mine and Bear’s lunch, as he is working from home half day #MidweekQualityTime
4. Last tune I Shazamed... "The Knife"
5. TV series that I watch: None at the moment actually –Have watched all seasons of Homeland, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy LOL! Feel free to recommend any good ones! I started watching Lillyhammer on Netflix the other day but thought it was all a bit far-fetched. Will watch the first episode of Ladies of London (similar to Housewives of Beverly Hills, only this is about the IT-girls of London) that airs tonight.
6. Currently enjoying... our new bedstead with the high head board – feels like a new bedroom now
7. Thought of the day... Scarlett Grace will be 9 months on Friday which I can’t quite grasp!
8. Last item of clothing I bought... an orange long soft cardigan from Primark for £16 – A bargain buy and great for school runs and chilly morning visits to Starbucks
9. When did I last cry: On Monday at the hospital when I was in theatre, had local anaesthetic and a little breast tissue cut off from the top of my left boob, to be sent off for tests. Will return on Monday for results and to remove the stitching.
10. Most commonly used swear word at the mo: "Flippin' heck" (Trying not to swear a great deal as I have a 5 year old who is aware of everything that I say!)

Autumn sunshine
Outfit du Jour |
On Sunday sunshine was pouring through our bedroom windows so we set off out in the early morning air |
My little princess was wearing her new furry pom pom hat |
We stopped by the playground, and Erik and John came to join us |
I heart these boys! |
Regents Park is a world away from the rest of central London |
When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life, for there is in London all that life can afford - Dr. Samuel Johnson
We all had lunch outside, at Orrery Epicerie - a cafe and delicatessen on Marylebone High Street

Embracing Autumn and bright sunshiny days, because in three weeks we'll be turning the clocks back! |
