Short but sweet! 
And so she's gone, but she will be back again in three weeks. Also, I'm happy to report that she loved the flat that we are in a process of buying (sole purpose is for her to live in it permanently to be near us and the kids). So the risk of putting in an offer on a flat she hadn't viewed, thankfully paid off!
With a little luck she'll be living over here before December - and boy what a Christmas pressie that would be!

Lunch in Notting Hill - midweek quality time

With Sean in Sweden and Scarlett Grace in nursery all day, Bear took the day off on Wednesday so we could have some child free quality time, just me and him.

We drove to Notting Hill where we had a stroll around Portobello Road, soaked in the West London atmosphere, and stopped for a delicious sushi lunch (I tried their new dish "yellowfin sushi with wasabi" as in the above pic, as well as the "sesame seared tuna" and other goodies) at Itsu's flagship restaurant.  

Time to get ready now, to go and pick up Mum and Sean at Paddington Station.  And to celebrate their arrival, we're going to Selfridges roof top restaurant tonight where a table for 7 awaits!

Last week I took my six year old to the airport and said goodbye to him, as he embarked on a flight to Sweden on his own.  There were of course no problems sending my lil one up in the friendly skies, as it's already the third time he flies as an unaccompanied minor. His little face on this picture proves just how excited and proud he was!
