On Friday afternoon, Andrea, Kat, Gerry and I checked in to The Ned - Soho House's new private five-star hotel, club and collection of restaurants (including Cecconi's), located bang opposite Bank station. Needless to say, it's London's current hotspot and opened only back in April 2017.
We got settled in to our rooms (two "cosy" rooms with connecting doors), and headed up to the eighth-floor rooftop which is also reserved for members and guests. It was a beautiful warm afternoon and with a 10-metre lap pool and views stretching from St Paul’s Cathedral to the Gherkin - it was simply spectacular!
We sat there for hours people watching, sipping rosé and gossiped like us girls do. Later in the evening we went to the Vault Room lounge bar in the basement where the safety deposit boxes once were (it used to be the headquarters of the Midland Bank) - it all felt very James Bond. We will definitely be back in the very near future!
