New York Times

Off to a flying start! BA check in desk at Heathrow T5

Pre flight indulgence at the Concorde Lounge
Changed in to my cosy gear as soon as we got on the plane
And wore my sandals with socks on just to wind Bear up (have told him its fashion lol!)

Taxi to Manhattan pls!
Our very dear friend Echo came to our hotel the first night (and brought his new wife Violetta too)
I didn't even have time to shower or change and was looking bloated after a long flight- but that didn't stop us from heading out straight away to a fave with New York locals - Blue Ribbon that serves food until 4.30am! We stuffed ourselves silly whilst catching up, drank loads and laughed till our ribs hurt.

woke up from a surprisingly satisfyingly long sleep the next day
Drinkies at the bar at Balthazar

Next night we had tickets for a world championship boxing game at Madison Square Gardens where heavyweight boxing's biggest star, British Anthony Joshua was fighting Andy Ruiz and lost unfortunately but boy what a cool experience that was!
Flat shoes are a must when walking block after block in Manhattan
Skateboard in the middle of a busy road sums NY up
Discussing married life perhaps? Echo has been single all these years we've known him so it's nice he's settled down finally.

Time to explore Manhattan!
Just the two of us
Husband and Wife - New York Life
Making new friends

Bear couldn't miss a football game (dont ask me which) so we sourced an Irish pub in mid town that was showing the premier league game and Bear befriended other Chelsea fans

Popped in to a super cosy chic bar and restaurant in Korea Town when we snagged a window table and watched  people walking past
Dazed and amused after drinking more or less all day! Will.Not.B.Tamed lol (the eyes says it all)
This night we ended up at the latest new Edition hotel in midtown Manhattan -where the club and rooftop bar is the hottest spot right now (helps to have locals to get you past that long queue!)
New York by night talking to strangers

Al fresco lunch in the sun at Bryant Park Grill

Drinkies at Mercer Kitchen in the heart of Soho (where I saw Chloe Sevigny)- one of my fave areas

Touch of class - Langham Hotel certainly delivered!

Riding in style!

Delayed post from our holiday in the Big Apple back in May/beg of June.
It's a treat to ourselves every year to go to New York, and boy that city never lets you down! - Another smashing unforgettable time. Six child free nights of just making memories. Thanks again to my wonderful mum who looked after the bambinos-
Gratitude is my attitude!
