shoe porn

It’s not just the designer shoes that are being covered in crystals and other embellishments at the moment: these shoes are from Dune’s Black Sand range, and as you can see, they’re certainly not missing out in the “bling” department! :-)

I've been browsing the net all morning, in search for a fab pair to wear with my wet look/black shiny leggings, and came across these.
I really like the shape of these and the front of the shoe in general is really similar to the Miss Dior peep toes that have been popular for a while now. As for the colour, thats a nice luscious green suede although of you don’t like it, these are also available in red and black.

These are down to from £180 to £11o in the sale – get them from Dune - I know I will! lol

Cat and her caps

This is my second Ed Hardy cap

I am really girlie with my pink blog, pink laptop etc, that is for sure. But one thing that seperates me from the real girlie girls, is that I love wearing caps (and have done before I moved to London and way before the Von Dutch trend started)

Yesterday when in town, I finally found an ED HARDY (by Christian Audigier) cap I want, with rhinestone and in the colours that I've been after, i.e. white, black and pink. Pic of me wearing it to follow :-)

I've always been a big fan of caps, and here I am, on my very first day in London, wearing a cap (here on the underground)

Roller babies

Morning! Last night was not too bad for us considering we've got a baby whos teething. Sean woke at 4am and I gave him so teething gel and Calpol for the pain, and by 4.40am he was dozing again.

Perhaps some of you need a bit of cheering up this Monday morning? Or maybe not, but I believe we could all do with a bit of laughter anyway - it's good for our souls. Here's the wonderful new ad for Evian. Enjoy!

Maybe third time lucky? :-)

Sean and I in the hallway, just about to go for a walk in the park. This was the second attempt to leave the flat this morning, but first time around, once out through the door I noticed Sean had done a poo poo.

And now as I opened the main door the heaven just opened and it began to rain heavily! Might give it another try in a while as they do say " third time lucky" ;-)

Teething, round 2

I spy with my little eye...one.... TWO(!) white pearly things peeking through Sean's gum. Thankfully I'm not still breasfeeding because I'd be worried about my nipples! ;-)

Eye candy

Everyone's heard the expression 'eye candy' no doubt, and this time, it's almost literal. LOL.

These are the Autumn-Winter 2009 Womens Louis Vuitton , and are called the Louis Vuitton Tutti Sweety collection.

I am a huge fan of accessories and have one LV bracelet myself
(see here)which I use regularly, but these are not my kind of taste at all. On the left is the bracelet, and on the right a pair of earrings

The greatest love affair & a weekend with the in-laws

Sean is no doubt the greatest love affair in my life, here in his new Swedish footie outfit

With Mum and grandmother here, and now Bear's mum is down from Scotland, it will be all about the in-laws this weekend. Off to town now to have an al fresco lunch in the sun

With Luv,

Weekend finally here

Seany loves being tickled on his belly

My Mum and grandmother is currently in London for my brother's university graduation ceremony today. Yesterday I had them over for no, not coffee, but som G & T's lol
My gran might look old, but she certainly has a young mind.

I've just tried out what I'm wearing this evening and I'm excited to finally use my new wet look leggings. I've "toned" them down (about 6 months ago you could only buy these types in sex shops, haha!) with a black blouse with frills in the front and a long black cotton cardi, and that way, according to me, it doesnt look too OTT.
As for the missing ankle strap for the right shoe, it is there somewhere...hmm.

Love the black shiny leggings that's in fashion currently

at the hairdresser

Here I am, getting a heat treatment (love what my hair feels like after it) and a blow dry with my blow drying guru, Latvian Arthur.

As u can see, my little plaster Sean, always tags along with me whatever I'm doing.lol That way he becomes an asset, not a burden.

Oh, and all this in preparation for my brothers uni graduation ceremony/party tomorrow, which by the way my Mum and grandmother (who is currently on hol here in London) also will attend.

Read it and remember it

Evening! I just came across the below quote and its so good and spot on that I am itching to share it with you:

“For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time to still be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time and remember that time waits for no one.

So stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you are off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you’ve had a drink, until you’ve sobered up, until you die, until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”

New shopping

In Sweden I bought a pair of wet- look black shiny leggings (latest fashion as seen on celebs below), that are the perfect party wear.

It has arrived!

Whilst in Sweden, Sean got his first tooth (hence the constant drooling as in the pic)

Young talent

I will definitely let Sean have piano lessons, just like my brothers and I.

It was at this piano it all started , and also through it, we developed our huge interest in music.

This evening we r going in to town where there is a big festival on, and this one particular band will b playing 50s and 60s music live, in one of the town's square, in the open air. So am hoping the glorious weather doesn't change!

The International & Iced tea

Thought I'll post a quick one as I've just put Sean to sleep with his milk, and am waiting for Bear to come home...

This evening we are watching The International, the new movie with Clive Owen & Naomi Watts, and with that, in this heatwave, whats more perfect than some delicious iced tea made by moi (that's if you are like us and don't have your "cheat day" until tomorrow, or else something bubbly is of course more tempting lol).

It's very easy to make, and here's how you do it:

Fresh tea is best, or alternatively Cold Brew Lipton Tea Bags.

Start with about a pint of very hot water, put amount of teabags u want,in to steep for a few minutes. Remove the bags and stir in a little sugar (Natural Cane Sugar are best) or honey, and let it dissolve in the hot water - this is key.

Now fill it up with cool tap water (no ice!). Refrigerate. When it's cold, its the loveliest iced tea you can make. Ill also add lots of slices of lemon and fresh mint.

Have a nice evening,

And dont forget to sleep with a sheet as opposed to a duvet in this heat.

With Luv

Thursday morning

It's pretty serene in Regents Park this time of the day

Sean woke himself and us up at 4am from a blocked nose. He has been suffering from a cold now for nearly 10 days and it's really affecting both his and our sleep.

Bear got up and took him to our bed, which meant no sleep ever since! *Yawn* By 6.45am I decided to go for a powerwalk and a little jog, and for sure I do feel really good about it, but I am absolutely knackered. Soon I'll be taking my little boy to bed for a mid morning nap. Ta Ta

This morning we are listening to this in our household :

Sandals

The latest addition to Sean's shoe collection

Whilst out earlier I bought two pairs of sandals for Sean (which appropriately I placed right next to his dad's, so that I will go in my head "awwww" everytime I look there! LOL).

And speaking of just that, sandals, (well in this case; gladiator sandals) Check out the latest from Nike below, and judge for yourself. Would you buy a pair? C'mon "Just Do It" ;-)

Today is freaking hot in London, so what's better to do than to read two of my favourite mags that I coincidentally received in the post this morning.
