Scarlett Grace's last few days

That moment on the changing table when you look away for a second, and your baby falls asleep - so beautiful!

Astonishingly, our baba is sleeping on average between 7.30pm - 6am without waking up (unlike her brother who didn't sleep through the night until he was THREE years old!) - a miracle baby, I know!!!! But watch this space..I haven't yet proclaimed myself a sleep guru ;-)

 I try to encourage wakefulness by engaging a lot with her during the day, and she's noticeably awake for longer stretches these days

She is becoming more and more mobile, her movements less jerky, and all in all a whole lot more fun with giggles and gurgling!

Doctor Erik had a day off work on Tuesday and wanted to see his niece, so we met up for brunch at Muriel's Kitchen  

Strolling around on the streets of South Kensington with my daughter in the sling - not sleep deprived, and feeling upbeat and happy

Did I mention I L.O.V.E being a full-time mum to my munchkin?!

A snippet of our weekend

We chose to have a quiet, chilled weekend, as last one was "full on", celebrating my birthday!

Andrea came over with her two boys on Saturday morning, and Bear then took Sean and Andrea's 4 year old, Harry, to a local kids soft play zone called Jungle Gym!

In the meantime, Andrea and I took the young ones (Scarlett Grace and Freddie who is 15 months) for a stroll in the sunshine and rounded off the afternoon with a bite to eat at Chipotle

Sean got to dress up like his fave super hero, Captain America, and insisted on keeping it on when we went outside

New pretty quilted Spring coat that I bought in the sale from Marks and Spencer for only £7!

Rounded of the weekend on Sunday with an early supper at  Zizzi -
We really like it because its 5 mins walk from us, child friendly with a separate 'Bambino menu', pram friendly with lots of space, a surprisingly good wine list and overall serves nice fresh Italian food both healthy and unhealthy :-)

We embraced my 38th birthday with sheer indulgence at the following venues:

2 nights stay with 9(!) pillows on the bed @ Groucho Club//Dinner at my all time London favourite @ China Tang at Dorchester//Getting jiggy on the dancefloor @ Novikov// Lounging with cake and drinkies @ Library room at Soho Hotel//Lunch and "hair of the dog" @ Dean Street Townhouse

Seven days in March

Spring has sprung in London town!

My friend of many many years, Ama, getting to know Scarlett Grace, with Sean providing full support

Bear's Dad on a flying visit from Scotland to meet his granddaughter, his 8th grandchild (and still counting!)

 Wherever he has lunch, chicken nuggets and chips and peas always seem to be on his menu!
