Sean 9️⃣ today

Lindo Wing, a few minutes after 10pm, 27th November 2008 (birth story here

Happy birthday to my wonderfully kind, gentle and warm hearted boy who's 9 today. Thank you Sean for teaching me unconditional love. Here are a few life lessons I put together for you this morning.

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO:

say please and thank you

stand up to bullies

be especially kind to the elderly, disabled, children and animals

be a gentleman

forgive but not necessarily forget

have at least one good friend

have a good firm hand shake

look people in the eye when speaking to them

always tell the truth

hold the door open if someone is behind you

and last but not least - love your mummy & daddy and accept if we make mistakes sometimes xxx

Christmas Fair Swedish Church

Now...

 ....and then.

This pic came up in my FaceBook memories and my how little Sean was. Pic taken back in 2013 at that exact same hot dog stand.

Have a very Scandi Christmas with the help of the annual fair in the Swedish church in Marylebone, selling all sorts of festive Swedish treats, crafts and gifts.

The pop-up cafรฉ upstairs in the actual church serves open sandwiches too (I had the traditional prawn dill egg mayo - see pic) as well as the Swedes' take on mulled wine: glรถgg. Well worth a visit if you ask me!

And here's why ♡

Movie ๐ŸŽž Time

On Sunday after rugby practise we strolled over to Bayswater (kids on scooters), stopped at Starbucks for a Gingerbread latte & a cinnamon bun, and then went on to watch Paddington 2 in Whiteleys.
It was an utterly loveable sequel, and Hugh Grant makes a great come back in it too.  Highly recommended family movie ✮✮✮✮✮

A family affair ♥︎

Dad tagged along on the morning school run

The games on morfar's phone is far more fun than mummy's
Beautiful London morning
Family dinner at Erik's with both mum and dad - quite surreal lol

Catching up and reminiscing of the good old days
John John served meat (12 hours on the slow cooker) that melted in your mouth with roast potatoes - delish!

It's not a real party until the guitar comes out!
This was Dad's second visit this year

He also went with Alan to watch Sean practise football with his team Regents Park FC (he plays 3 hours every Saturday morning!)

Highlights from the weekend

On Friday afternoon Scarlett Grace and I jumped on the train to my Mum's in Amersham for a sleepover.
We ordered our fave take away from the local Turkish and enjoyed having a girls only evening.
Sean and his good friend Ali (class mates) on their way to watch WWE Live at Wembley arena.
It was Sean's early birthday treat and he was allowed to bring one friend. Both absolutely loved watching their wrestling heroes live (Triple H and Seth Rollins).

Hilarious video of the boys screaming out in excitement as their hero came out on stage unexpectedly ๐Ÿ™Œ

Heading to rugby practise Sunday morning

Butterfly chicken in cream and mushroom sauce
Post rugby lunch at Cote Brasserie on the picturesque Marylebone High Street
