St. Paul's Cathedral

View from Bear's office window

An entirely different vibe than the West End where we live. Beautiful. If you ask me! (See if you can spot the iconic building known as "The Gherkin")

City Surprise

Here is Sean watching kiddies program at the receptionist desk at his Dad's office in the City (London's financial district)

Bear left this morning to put in a few extra hours at work, and was gonna be back home at noon the latest, so that we could all have lunch together.

Guess if he was chuffed when the buzzer rang as me and Sean showed up on a surprise visit? :-)

I don't usually visit him at work since its always busy there, but today its nice and quiet, as his staff are not here.

Now we are off to find a place that is open for lunch in this area - Could be tricky as its like a ghost town here over the weekend!

Fab Find (for one pound!)

My new (vintage looking) bracelet that I got in the sale the other day.
I am well pleased as not only did it cost £1.00 (from H & M), but it's also a perfect match with a belt that I have in the same gorgeous blue-ish colour:

Braving the outdoors..

Despite my severe form of hayfever/allergy today, I've popped out for that vital cup of Starbucks java!

Dad's visit in pics

Bench buddies
How do you like me in my new Chelsea FC outfit from Granddad and uncle Henrik?

Fascinating fountain

Concentrating -"One step in front of the other, Sean!"

"You can let go of me now, Granddad!"

After swimming at our country club, Stoke Park, it's lounging time by the sun chairs.

Guilty as charged!

"Catch me if you can!"

Travelling in style

Laughter over dinner

"No, look this way, Mum! I'm doing 'Peek-a-Boo' with you!"

At the London Zoo in Regents Park

Out of all the animals there, I found the giraffes most fascinating. So tall, so overwhelming, so unreal in a sense.

Sean was taught the importance of holding hands at the Zoo by his uncle

At the ever so idyllic Rose Garden

"is it good here Dad, or shall we move the the left a bit?"

Sean allows me to let out the child in me

Sibling stroll

Waiting impatiently for the food to arrive

Things I learnt over the weekend

1. A professional salon blowdry makes me feel great
2. The newly opened Mount Street Deli is fab
3. I find it difficult to lose my last 2 post- pregnancy kilos
4. My baby brother is making me so proud, as he sailed through his first year in Medicin at Imperial.
5. Mayfair would be my ideal place to reside if money was no object
6. Buckwheat is my fave substitute for common carbs such as rice and pasta
7. Drinking bubbles with your girlfriends over the weekend can take the edge off
8. I am one stubborn woman
9. I like Sheryl Crow’s new tune “Summer Day”
10. I feel much less stressed after tidying the flat

I had one of the tastiest breakfast ever here. It's owned by Caprice Holdings, better known for its high-profile restaurants The Ivy, J Sheekey and Scott's.

fully stocked fridge

Here's a little insight as to what is in our fridge once it's been fully stocked (a lot are repeated groceries that are our favourits. As you can see there are mostly fruit, veggies and some sea food. I try to avoid red meat as I don't like the quality much here and tend to eat a steak only when in a nice restaurant
