A visit to the City

This morning I took Scarlett Grace in the sling (London underground is not pram friendly!) lil man by foot, and then we set off to the City of London (near Tower Hill) where uncle Erik nowadays lives. 

It's rare that the Doctor is off work during the week, and with Sean on half-term, this was an opportunity not to be missed :-)

Tip: Best Blanket

 

New and noteworthy

When I went to Zara Home a couple of weeks ago, I picked up a few things there ( I always do - they have so much nice stuff) including two photo frames and a blanket. Not just any blanket, the softest one I think I have ever come across!  I already got my Mum one for Christmas, and now I couldn't resist buying us one for our living room - highly recommended!

Bear always brings a bottle of milk to help pacify our little munchkin 

As I can't face the trauma of taking Scarlett Grace for her immunisation jabs (Tetanus, Diphtheria, whooping cough, polio, Hep B), Bear took her to see the nurse this morning for her final injections in the series of three. 

Eight(!) in total during her first 16 weeks, and this does not include the BCG (Tuberculosis) that my Mum took her for, a couple a weeks ago. Thankfully no more now until September. Phew! 

New Ferragamo heels

Mission completed!
Finally found a pair of pointed pumps with not too high heels. These are in suede and calf leather with a comfortable 8cm heel. Very pleased with my purchase!

Let it Go

Like most 5 year olds, Sean too loves the movie "Frozen" and has watched it numerous times. But it was only last week we realised he knew the whole lyrics to "Let it Go, so Bear then decided to capture that on film. Totally adorable if you ask me :-)

Hubby and I made the most of having my Mum here (i.e the best babysitter, and free too lol!), and had a date night.  Pre drinks at Galvins Windows with views of all of London's skyline, followed by sushi dinner at Nobu Park Lane. 

Midweek Quality Time

Nice long leisurely midweek lunch with hubby in Villandry in Marylebone. Love the fact that Bear is not a '9-5 er' ;-)

Serene Regents Park

Hard to believe it's in central London, eh?! It's beauty together with the birds chirping simply takes my breath away, and I feel so grateful to more or less have this on my door step!
There are practically no one there at 7am on a Sunday, so it pretty much feels like my own back garden LOL! I relied on this tune, with a Danish synthesizer rock-band, to pick me up and get me in the mood for a run :-)

Saturday morning cuddles

Scarlett Grace slept in her usual routine last night from around 7pm until 7am! I am still amazed when I wake up before her, and I need to go over to her cot and check that she's ok, only to find her blissfully snoozing away!

 I must add though that this little princess is awake most of the day with no more than around a 30 minutes nap, which is extremely little for a baby her age (and compared to her brother who slept for hours on end!).
So the daytimes are pretty much full on with her, but I'm certainly not complaining as I love that I get to witness all those magical moments in her waking hours :-)
