On Christmas Eve, the main day that us Swedes celebrate X-mas, we went to our local pub for lunch and some bubbly followed by unwrapping gifts, lounging in the living room, playing guitar, singing and ending the evening with a cheese board and some wine.
On Christmas day we were mostly just chilling at home, eating lots of food and watching a DVD followed by a walk in Regents Park.
The park was surprisingly lively for Xmas day but I suppose it's because there is a large chunk of Londoners that do not actually celebrate Xmas & failing to find much else to distract them when most things are closed, a walk in the park must seem like a very good option. It's also nice even if you do celebrate Xmas, just to walk off some of the excess calories consumed :-)
