It's booked, confirmed and all paid for - it's official - we are going to Chicago on in mid May!!! My Mum will come over to London to look after Sean, and then stay for the duration of our Lake Como trip at the end of May too! We're so privileged to have my Mum :-)
We are both so excited as neither of us have been there. We opted to go to New York first, but since we've been several time we wanted to try something new. And we've heard lots of cool stuff about Chicago. WEEHEE! If anyone's been there, tips and advise are very welcome.

Been there and it a cool place you will love it. Lots of trendy happening bars/clubs and nice lakeside parks & marinas etc. Take the "L" at least once just for the experience.
