Welcome weekend! :-)

Friday is finally here, which means only three more days and we are going on holiday- Yippee!

Sean and I are now popping in to town (using the baby carrier for a change) to meet a girlfriend of mine.

Later I will pick up a baby walker from a friend who's lending it to us, and that hopefully will help Sean lear to take his first steps. Bear and I will then end the evening with sushi and some chilled crisp white wine at our friend's local sushi restaurant.

Nine months passed already..

Last night I was thinking, my baba is now 9 months (and a few days). How about that? My little boy has now spent as much time out of me as he had in me! :))

Before he was born, I entertained visions of us sitting together, he snuggled into my lap, listening attentively as I read him stories. The reality is my son is a Little Monkey (except when blissfully sleeping like above), creeping and crawling everywhere!

How a crawling baby can outpace me, I don't know. He really is testing his limits and seeing just how far he can go. Especially when there is something forbidden at stake like oh... climbing the stairs.

We're still waiting for more teeth (he has got four now) even though it feels as if Sean has been displaying signs of teething off and on since he was practically born.

It's just great watching him grow and develop in to a little person with a character, responding to me, and making quite clear who his "special people" are with his own character. I really can't wait for his birthday....

I think we will keep it simple (well that's what I'm saying now haha), because I will no doubt have my hands full trying to keep him from sticking his busy little hands into the birthday cake!

The Proposal

Over the weekend I watched "The Proposal". It turned out to be one of the better romcoms I've seen in a long time (with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds i.e. husband to Scarlett Johanson).

In this now-famous kneeling on the pavement scene (above), just check out the lovely leather tote from Prada, and how can one miss the Louboutins she's wearing?

Well apart from all the fab gear Sandra gets to wear during the movie, it's the perfect chick-flick and I would recommend any girl to take her friend with her to the movies to see it.

Really like this '09 campaign with Katie Holmes from Prada's little sister, Miu Miu. Here she surprisingly looks rather sassy I think!

Finally we're off to the park

A little later than anticipated, we are now heading for the park as London is blessed (or cursed, some might say) with 29 degrees today.

I'm wearing a mini skirt (not stripping down to bikini bottoms in the public park), bikini top and a tunic with my Ed Hardy cap (I always cover face when sunbathing
To read, I'm taking the latest issue of MAMA that arrived in post today, and my beautifully written but pure fiction book; Nights of Rain and Stars.

Food wise, well I'm taking last nights dinner with me; grilled skinless chicken fillet with sun-dried tomato pasta.

Have a warm and jolly day! Make the most of it, cos it might just b the last really warm day this end of Summer :-)
