End of Summer holiday (2022), Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock

This time last year we extended the Summer just before kids when back to school, and rented our fave beach cottage in Kingsdown, Kent. Creatures of habits we are, as we always seem to go back to places we know and love. Why risk trying a new place when you have young kids etc is my motto. Grass is not greener.. 

Back in London Town, me and Gezza went for an al fresco lunch in Chiltern Firehouse and as it happened, we sat next to 2 of the world's best stand up comedians Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. - Personally I was star stuck as I love Dave and his controversial comedy, unlike some. 

Vacation Vibes - Bodrum 2022

And so we returned to our "home from home' in usual order.

 This was our 10th year going back to Bodrum, Torba Bay and to the same hotel. From the moment we check in to our room we always know we have arrived somewhere really special to us. 

We were watching the spectacular sunset at the end of the day, cocktails in our hands, grilled fish for lunch at the foot of the ocean, boat trips and beach clubs- it really is our getaway destination! 

This time around we discovered a new place, Folie Restaurant & Sea  (shown in the last few pics) - and with the elevated seaside sundeck platform and the most stunning views I think it's safe to say that with that location, we probably had one of our best restaurant experience on the Turkish riviera 

 - the novelty of staring out over the blue/green ocean simply never wear off!
