On Saturday Scarlett Grace went to a birthday party. A friend from her nursery class, Cosima, requested her presence at the ballet themed party - It was the first time she'd been invited to one, and needless to say she was very excited!

Today Bear took time off work to come with me and cheer on Munchkin at her school.

Nativity play

Bear and I went to see Sean cast as Joseph, at a local church in the annual school Christmas show.  Needless to say we were very proud parents! xxx

 When my pelvic girdle pain is at it's worst and I'm bed-bound, Mum is a great help to me and does everything from cleaning, cooking, shopping and of course looking after her grandson :-)

Extra Curricular Activities

In the beginning of this year, we signed up Sean for after school activities. Mondays he has football, and Tuesdays he plays rugby with coach Richie.

At the moment, they have one PE lesson per week, but Bear and I really want Sean to be more active, and we both agree that physical activity is really good for children.

In fact, in most sports they are taught to develop a positive attitude and learning fair play, and last but not least to deal with both failure and success which I think is great!

Today I arrived early for pick up, and got a chance to spy on him and his team mates. I saw them learning basic skills like throwing and catching, and it was a real joy watching him so engaged, and with an already improved posture! :-)

Nursery

Sean by the nursery entry/exit gates today

Sean's nursery is beautifully situated in Connaught Village, in between gorgeous houses (check out the very pretty glass conservatories and white cherry blossom trees), and only abt two hundred metres from Hyde Park.  

It also has very heavy, tall gates that requires a secret four digit code to enter (provided to all parents), which from a safety and security perspective here in the centre of  London, is very reassuring for us as you can imagine!

Wednesdays = quality time

As part of our midweek quality time-plan, Bear and I take Sean to nursery every Wednesday morning for an 8am drop off. Here you see Bear leaving the nursery premises in Connaught Village, yesterday morning

We then went to The Portman for  breakfast (becoming routine now lol)

 They do a very nice cooked brekkie with no grease at all, and only use organic free range products.  I chose poached eggs with my bacon, sausages and mushroom.

  On our way to view a couple of town houses and one mews house for sale in Marlyebone as we are planning to expand in the near future.
