Birthday Morning

Last Friday I turned 43, yay! I simply love birthdays! The kids and Bear woke me early with singing Happy Birthday in bed, followed by the Swedish version "Ja ma hon leva". Bear had been to the local bakery first and got me a soya cappuccino and a scone (my bday request!)and sparklers.  I also was spoilt with lots of cuddles and kisses and truly enjoyed being one year older as the alternative would not be great lol! - It's a privilege getting older, denied by many so you got to just embrace it!
 Bear did the school run so I could have a lie-in, then I went to the salon for a wash and blowdry and I had bubbles with my brunch in the newly opened Brasserie of Light.

Our Sunday in Mayfair and Benihana

On Sunday the bday celebrations continued and we strolled through Mayfair to the Japanese steakhouse Benihana, as it's become somewhat of a tradition  - Now 5 years and counting!

Happy birthday to my wonderfully kind, gentle and warm hearted boy who's 9 today. Thank you Sean for teaching me unconditional love. Here are a few life lessons I put together for you this morning. 

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO:

say please and thank you

stand up to bullies

be especially kind to the elderly, disabled, children and animals

be a gentleman

forgive but not necessarily forget 

have at least one good friend

have a good firm hand shake

look people in the eye when speaking to them

always tell the truth

hold the door open if someone is behind you

and last but not least - love your mummy & daddy and accept if we make mistakes sometimes xxx

After a long boozy lunch I got back home and changed, then headed out with hubby to Roka Mayfair.

where we had Sushi and Sake. 

..and just kept it shrimple ;-) - The food there is out of this world - perfect ending to a perfect day 💛
