Yesterday..

After nearly four weeks, my "partner in crime" was back out on the streets of Marylebone with me. Here we're having lunch in 'Food Philosophy' which is  a Greek-themed cafe and delicatessen on George Street.

Although it was a school night, we made an exception as Sean has been such a good boy lately, and allowed him to go with Bear to Stamford Bridge o support Chelsea playing Middlesbrough.

Our little football star

And there it is, the rainbow flick!  All these hours of practice have finally paid off. We are so proud of our boy ♡

BBQ garden party chez Shields

Having been invited back our good friends' beautiful North London home and their barbecue garden party along with other families and friends we know, we seized the warm weather (and massive outside space) by the horns, and indulged in Andrea and David's hospitality yet again.
This time the "excuse" for our get-together was the kick start of the European Championship 2016, and England's first game.
We arrived at 6pm, and a grilled feast of meats and seafood along with deliciously fresh salads were served and washed down with beer, rosé, Pimms, bubbles and Aperol Spritzers.
Well we simply ate (too much), drank (far too much lol), gossiped, laughed and watched the kids play for hours (with breaks only to eat and drink) and of course we watched England play against Russia.
At 1am we finally surrendered to the night as all good things unfortunately must come to an end ;-)

Queens Park Rangers v Watford

A collage from Bank Holiday Monday's football game that we watched from a VIP hospitality suite on QPR's ground, Loftus Road (they are our local team!).

David is a season ticket holder and decided to "go large" on the day his daughter Margo was the team's mascot, and invited friends and family.

Non other than restauranteur Cipriani provided the catering, so we were well looked after food and drink wise. Kids too, had a great time of course!

Game on!

Had a great day today as VIP guests of our friends Andrea and David and family at footie match QPR - great lunch, lots of booze and yes our team won!
